B.Sc. (Hons) Radiotherapy

The B.Sc. in Radiotherapy programmes at Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) is designed to equip students with specialised knowledge and skills in the field of radiotherapy techniques. The programme has been approved by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), which ensures that the curriculum adheres to the highest radiation safety standards.

It has a specific objective-driven approach to learning, focusing on patient preparation techniques that result in the most accurate outcomes in radiotherapy procedures. Students are also trained in handling the sophisticated machinery used in radiotherapy procedures, ensuring that they are competent in assisting physicians in this area of healthcare.

Eligibility  : Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics OR equivalent as decided by competent authority.

Candidate should be Graduate from any recognized University/Institution of National importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).
Note: Candidates appearing for Final year bachelor's degree examinations may apply, but their admission will be subject to a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
